Assignment 1: Diptych

Like many others, I use art to express what I cant say. Photography is particularly good for this. You can explain an entire story in as little as one photograph. Diptychs can be used for powerful or enchanting photographs, I especially love the human body ones, its fascinating to me to see how similar we are to beauty in nature. 

But I wanted to tell a story with mine, photography is quite personal to me and I don't believe we should keep our stories hidden. Some of the most impactful art I've seen has been by someone telling their story. 

So with that, here's my first assignment. I don't want to explain anything, as the photos I'm hoping will speak for themselves. And if they don't I would like to keep people guessing. I portrayed this as MY experience with an illness, but someone else may be experiencing their own separate illness in a similar manner and therefore think the photo is about something entirely different. I placed some symbolic objects in the photo that Im hoping will help it photo speak.
